About the Artist

"Art that makes you Pause, Breathe and Feel"

"My work begins in stillness — in the small, quiet spaces where emotion settles"

I’m a self‑taught artist, shaped more by curiosity and observation than by classrooms. Working from my Studio in Springfield, Virginia, I learned watercolor and mixed media the same way I experience the world — slowly, deliberately, and with a deep respect for the details most people overlook. That independent path has become part of my voice as an artist.

I create watercolor and mixed media paintings that explore atmosphere, light, and the quiet moments that invite us to pause. My process is slow and intentional — each layer building depth, clarity, and a sense of upward movement that reflects how I experience the world. My goal is simple: to create work that makes you breathe a little deeper and feel a little more present.

My work is rooted in the belief that art should create space — space to breathe, to feel, and to reconnect with the parts of ourselves we often overlook. Every painting begins with a moment of quiet observation, and I try to carry that sense of stillness into the final piece.

As someone who came to art through curiosity rather than formal training, I’ve learned to trust the slow, attentive way I move through the world. That perspective shapes my work as much as the medium itself — guiding how I see, what I choose to paint, and the calm I hope each piece carries.

When you stand in front of one of my paintings, my hope is that you feel a sense of calm and presence — the same feeling I have while creating it. If my work offers even a brief moment of peace or connection, then it has done what it was meant to do.

“Thank you for spending a moment with my work”
